Just a word on butterfly as we roll out more and more IM work into the season.  Remember you want to be as LOW and FLAT as possible when swimming butterfly.  The once-taught "up and down" motion is a thing of the past - focus instead on bringing everything FORWARD on more of a horizontal plane.  This means keeping your hips high and your recovery LOW - do not reach for the sky in a High-Arm recovery.

Of course, to see the best in action, check out any Micheal Phelps video on YouTube.  Tom Shields is another American flyer who is growing into more of a flat stroke; he has a beautiful recovery.
