06/20/15 Workout Recap - Conveyor Belt Turns

So the team tried something new this past Saturday, as we worked on our turn depth/distance.  We did a goswim.tv exercise that I'm calling "conveyor belt" turns, but I think Glenn Mills calls them "over and under" turns.  Basically, you get swimmers 2-3 across and 2-3 deep and progressively turn into the wall, where the turning swimmers are basically forced to push off deep and not surface until they incoming swimmers have passed.  We found this drill very effective and will incorporate it into practices regularly.
