STREAMLINE, STREAMLINE, STREAMLINE

So, we did some turn work today, which is valuable ONLY if you are performing your turns effectively.  Otherwise, you are simply reinforcing bad habits through repetition.  Below is a very helpful diagram by swimmingscience.net showing the resistance per position.  Even what I call a “lazy streamline” increases your drag by 7%, people.  Let’s tighten up and make some DRAG-REDUCING muscle memories!
